THE ARRIVAL

Ok so obviously I've been behind on this, but I've been soooo busy it's not even funny. SO! Because I'm starting this so late I'm just going to write summaries. The ride on the airplane was awesome at first, but the seats were very uncomfortable to sleep in. Omar had no trouble sleeping of course, but when does he ever? We were highly impressed to see our first sign in Duetsche, yes that means German, not Dutch, and that each seat got their own tv! [Yes, were easily impressed.] When we arrived Omars' supervisor and sponsor picked us up and took us to see Ramstein. The hotel had no vacancies so they drove us to a hotel called the "Barbarossahof" which is a nice quiet little town in "Eselsfurth" (there's an umlaut on that u but I haven't figure out how to do that yet). Basically we have no grocery store or gas station or any hope of food besides the very expensive restaraunt downstairs and the irish pub across the street, both of which are very pretty. The architecture, people, and landscape here are all very nice. The only problem I have so far is that I get rreeaallyy sick driving around. The only time I've been somewhere with curves and elevation was in Tennessee and I felt like hell every single time I got into a car. Here is a little better, but not much. I can't wait til I can DRIVE and not be as bad off. Below are some pictures of our hotel and one of the pub across the street, and a couple windmills, they use windmills!:
