First Sights in Germany

I wanted to make a post of some of the interesting things we saw once we arrived. We walked around quite a bit and saw some interesting road signs which we know now all of by heart for our test! We also had some interesting experiences....and ate some good food! We took the bus and a taxi and had a really strange experience with an older German woman. I'm not sure if she was drunk...or mentally ill...or what. But, as we were looking for our bus we saw an old lady literally fall straight backwards into a ditch, her legs flew straight up and hit the ground. We both ran over and my first impression was she was unconcious, she hit her head on a rock and she wasn't moving. Then she started rubbing her head and we tried to help her up. She latched onto Omar and told everyone in German that she only wanted help from him.....weird....so now Omar is arm in arm with this random German lady who's mumbling words to him that he doesn't understand and shaking her head. A girl came by that knew english and german and explained to the woman that she needed to step up (it was MAYBE a 12 inch step up) but she told us the woman told her she only wanted help from omar and she kept saying "what do i do?" over and over. We must have stood there for 10 minutes but what felt like centuries while this very strange very mentally unstable lady continued to speak to Omar in German and stand in a ditch as if she had no way out. Eventually she stepped up and we told them we had to go catch the bus....probably one of the weirdest things that's ever happened to me. Ever. So here are some pics from our walking/bussing adventures.
This is the first trail we walked on, it's behind our hotel and is very nice and quiet.
This is a sign warning people about their dog...a lot of those signs are German Shepherds even though the dog there isn't one, they looove German Shepherds here!
